Become a museum supporter
We are always pleased to welcome new members into the Society, and if you would like to join us it couldn't be simpler, just come along to the museum on one of the days when we are open and ask one of the staff members who are on duty, or if you are attending one of our monthly lectures just ask one of the staff members for details. Membership is very cheap at just £10 per annum, and since we don't charge any admittance fee for attendance at our lectures this does help us to keep the museum going. Even if you aren't able to come along very often, being a supporter not only helps us, but also makes you feel like a part of one of Whitworth's most precious assets. You can join or renew your membership at any time of the year now, and will be notified by e-mail or post when your renewals are due, you can also find your expiry date at the bottom of your membership card. As of November 2016 you can now join us without having to come along to the museum in person, so just download and print out a membership form from one of the links below and post it to us along with a cheque or postal order for the required amount.
